Subject: FW: Request for donation From: Date: 10/01/2020, 15:59 To: Subject: Re: Request for Donation                                                                                                                              10th January 2020   For the attention of Mr Dave Smith – Clerk to Ringshall Parish Council    Dear Mr Smith,   I am writing to you on behalf of the Suffolk Neighbourhood Watch Association, to follow up on a previous email regarding a donation request from our chairman in January 2018.   Neighbourhood Watch is a vital and successful crime prevention initiative which helps in the prevention, detection and deterrence of offences while fostering community spirit and reducing the fear of crime.   The Suffolk Neighbourhood Watch Association (SNWA) are a voluntary independent organisation, working under a partnership agreement with the national body, the Neighbourhood Watch Network.   We do not receive any regular income and are responsible for raising all funds necessary.  We are hoping you may be able to donate £50.00 to help us cover the general operating costs of our Association, such as postage, printing, room hires for meetings, and the like.
